Shipping changes at Feralwood

The following will outline changes in shipping and inventory organization that have been established for the 2024-25 season.

Introducing shipping codes:

Type-specific inventory, denoted by a shipping code (#s 1 - 4), will ship out at specific times of the season, as follows:

#1: woody perennials - Nov & Dec, then March
#2: seeds & tubers - Nov thru April
#3: stem & root cuttings - Jan & Feb
#4 herbaceous perennials - Feb & Mar

Note: Exceptions may arise due to the organic nature of the work. These will be broadcast through newsletters and social media.

How shipping codes function:

Each inventory item will have a shipping code included with its listing.

We have also created categories specific to these shipping codes.

As shown above, shipping codes reference a time frame for shipment.

Important: If you place an order with multiple shipping codes, your order will be shipped at the latest shipping time denoted by the shipping codes. An alternative to this is to place multiple orders.
Example: If you would like to order bare root trees (woody perennials) and stem cuttings, yet you would like to receive your trees before January, then you should place these orders separately.
