Bare root, 1 year old rooted divisions.

American bladdernut (Staphylea trifolia) is a stoloniferous (though mostly clumping) shrub that dwells in a diversity of habitats within its range, though here it is found most often in floodplain habitats and other ecologies of moisture and fertility. Stunning flowers.

Seeds are a highly nutritious edible for all beings dwelling on the landscape. High oil content. Many have compared the flavor to macadamia nuts.

American bladdernut is a new species we are working with and we hope to offer seedlings, root cuttings, hardwood cuttings, and other alternatives to growing in the near future. For now we have a limited amount of rooted divisions. We also offer seed.
