Bare root seedlings, 1 year old.
Quercus/oak hybrids offered this year:
Bur x English (McDaniel’s cultivar): seedlings of the cultivar McDaniels, a vigorous hybrid of bur oak (Q. macrocarpa) and English oak (Q. robur), sourced from Perfect Circle Farm. Likely a complex hybrid.
Bur x swamp white (Schuette’s): this hybrid oaks has great vigor, crops early, and carries traits of both parent species. very cold hardy
Dwarf chinkapin x chinkapin: my favorite hybrid oak to grow right now, this hybrid is a large shrub or small tree (an oak for smaller spaces) and produces an abundance of small acorns.
Ooti, Bebb’s selection, white x bur: very cold hardy, vigorous, early acorns.
Morse hybrid white oak (complex white oak hybrid): vigorous, early acorns
Sargent #7, chestnut x English: early acorns, vigorous
Compton oak, overcup x southern live oak: southeastern US hybrid, evergreen in warmer climates, floodplain adapted
Regal Prince, swamp white x English
