heartnut/Japanese walnut (#1)
Bare root seedlings from named cultivars. Walnut species are generally sef-fertile but produce best crops when more than one tree seedling or variety is planted. Wind-pollinated.

Heartnut (Japanese walnut) is a tasty, thin-shelled, and single-lobed walnut. Seedlings are grown from mother trees that are named cultivars. Bears nuts early.
This year we have grown trees from the cultivar “Rhodes”, collected and offered by Buzz Ferver of Perfect Circle Farm.
