Hicans are hybrids of pecan and another hickory (Carya spp.) species.
This year we offer seedlings of ‘Burton’ hican, a self-fertile cultivar known for annual bearing. ‘Burton’ is thought to be a cross between a pecan and a shagbark hickory.
