Bare root 1 year old seedling trees.
Southern magnolia, Magnolia grandiflora, is an evergreen tree native to the southeastern US. Older specimens left unpruned create wild and hidden playscapes of uncomparable tree-spirit for children and adults alike.
The creamy white flowers can be up to 12 inches in diameter and have edible petals. These flowers give way to bright red seed - a favorite food of the pileated woodpecker.
Seedlings are short, about 4 to 6 inches in height, though having great root systems. This is my first year growing this tree so I am not sure if this is standard or not. Until i confirm what I should expect, they will be priced a bit cheaper than other trees I offer.
